Home to school/college transport assistance for children and young people with SEND

For information on home to school transport across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, please visit the BCP Council School Transport web pages.

BCP Council offers a range of home to/from school transport solutions to young people that meet our eligibility criteria. The transport solution offered will be comparable with those appropriate for a child of similar age, taking into account any additional needs. Examples include a travel pass for use on public transport, a seat on a dedicated school bus, minibus or taxi, with enhanced accessibility and the support of a Passenger Assistant where necessary, a fuel reimbursement or a personal travel budget.
