Disabled Facilities Grants pay for essential adaptations to help people with disabilities stay in their own homes. Grants are administered by Housing and Community Services (HCS) under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996.
If your child has a disability, you may qualify for a disabled facilities grant towards the cost of adaptations to your home. This grant is non means tested for children and up to a maximum of £30,000.
