COVID-19 update

All children are now allowed to attend early years settings. Read the latest Government guidance on the opening of schools and educational settings.

Due to social distancing restrictions, priority will be given to 3 and 4 year olds, vulnerable children and the children of critical workers.

The majority of providers in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are now open.

If you need help finding childcare or have any questions, please contact the  BCP Family Information Service on 01202 261970 or email familyinformation@bcpcouncil.gov.uk

It's important to find the right childcare. Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole has a wide range of Ofsted registered, high quality childcare settings that can provide your child with valuable early education and social opportunties.

If your child has special educational needs or disabilities, please see the SEND information contained within the childcare provider records to help support you in choosing a setting.

It's important your child will be happy and settled and that the childcare meets your practical needs too. The Family and Childcare Trust has written a useful guide to choosing childcare which you may find helpful.

If you need help finding childcare or advice on any aspect, including childcare funding please contact the Family Information Service on 01202 261970 or email familyinformation@bcpcouncil.gov.uk
