Music, Drama, Dance & Theatre
Musical activities provide an introduction to instruments and rhythm. Children and young people may learn to read, write and compose music as well as learning about famous composers.
Drama helps to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation, as well as being fun! Awaken the inner dramatist by taking part in theatre activities. Young people can act, direct, dance and sing for an applause ready audience. They can make props, write a play, make set designs, create a song and dance routine or take part in pantomimes.
Dancing is great exercise and fun for all ages. It's also a simple way to introduce young people to different styles of music and can improve balance and co-ordination.
