A-Stars
A-Stars is a local support group for families with a child aged 5 and over who has Aspergers Syndrome or any other Autistic Spectrum Condition.
We offer activiites and a welcoming, judgement-free environment for the whole family every Saturday morning at 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Asperger's Base at Budmouth Technology College in Weymouth.
Activities include: bingo, arts & crafts, parachute games, games console facilities, various outings and day trips and more.
Our aim is to provide activities at a pace and level to suit the needs of the members.
We provide a place where whole families can come along and socialise with each other.
We are very keen that brothers and sisters of Autistic Spectrum Condition children feel able to come along. Not only can they take part in activities if they wish, but they can also socialise with other children who have autistic siblings.
