Bourne Valley Park

Bourne Valley Park and the adjoining Bourne Valley cover over 57 hectares so there is lots to explore for walkers of all ages. It is home to a number of protected reptile species and the site includes a number of ponds, steams and watercourses so keep an eye out and see what you can spot along the way. Be aware that there are some significant slopes on the walkways and many of the paths across the healthland are gravel surface so suitable footwear is recommended.

The Park boasts a great play area providing a cableway, wheelchair friendly roundabout, twin 4 metre space net with link bridge, various swings, climbing nets, a climbing whirl, monkey bars and a four seat springer. There is also todler slide  and cradle swings for little ones to join in the fun too.

For older children, or the more adventures the park offers a wheeled play area for skateboards, in-line skates, micro-scooters and BMX bikes. The area consits of a concrete bowl, ramps and blocks with enough space to practice all those tricks! Remember to stay safe and wear the appropriate safety geal for your acitvity.

When you are finished playing, or need a break there is seating and picnic tables ready to use. Parking is available on road surrounding the park.
