Help and advice with EHCPs

Support is available for parents/carers and young people from a range of places.

The BCP Council SEND Statutory Services Team are responsible for carrying out EHC needs assessments issuing EHCPs.  

SENDiass4BCP is an impartial, confidential, "arm's-length" service for children and young people (up to the age of 25) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and their parents/carers. They provide information, advice and support in relation to education, social and healthcare matters. 

Parent Carers Together is a parent carer forum set up to represent the voices of parent carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (0 to 25) in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Independent Provider of Special Educational Advice (IPSEA) offer free and independent legally based information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
