Join us for a weekend of celebrations as we commemorate two milestones in Poole. This year, the RNLI College turns 21 and the volunteers at Poole Lifeboat Station are celebrating 160 years of saving lives. Taking place across two days, come and be a part of the party.
On the Saturday 9 August, the party is at the College. Come down for a day of fun. There will be live music, food and drink, circus workshops and face painting. You can even meet our mascot Stormy Stan! There’s also behind-the-scenes tours of the College facilities, so you can see where RNLI lifesavers get trained.
On Sunday 10 August, it’s time to celebrate Poole Lifeboat Station. Head down to the floating boathouse on the quay where you can meet the crew and see the lifeboats up close. Learn some vital skills from the water safety team, and then grab yourself a souvenir and something to eat or drink from the stalls. Then, take your place on the quay for some exciting lifeboat demonstrations.
