Seafood and Sounds on the Quay

Seafood and Sounds on the Quay logo

Seafood and Sounds is back for 2026, and it's bigger than ever! Building on the success of previous years, this free, family-friendly weekend transforms Poole into a lively festival celebrating the town's rich maritime heritage. Supported by Poole BID and headline sponsor The Dolphin Centre, the festival has expanded its footprint further up the High Street and into Falkland Square, bringing incredible food, music, and entertainment to even more of the town.

Weekend Highlights:

  • Colourful Opening Parade: The festivities kick off on Saturday at 11:00 AM with a vibrant, seafood-themed parade starting at the Slug & Lettuce, traveling through the High Street and Old Town, and culminating on Poole Quay.
  • Live Music Everywhere: Enjoy a consistent festival atmosphere with live performances programmed across nine different locations, including the Quay, Old Town, Falkland Square, and The Dolphin Centre.
  • Sensational Seafood & Demos: Local restaurants and vendors will be showcasing special dishes featuring renowned coastal produce. Plus, catch live food demonstrations inside The Dolphin Centre and culinary workshops for local students at the White Pepper Chef Academy on Saturday.
  • Town-Wide Artisan Market: A curated market featuring local producers will be spread across multiple locations throughout the town, perfect for exploring independent businesses.
  • Family Fun & Community: Discover children’s entertainment and activity zones.
  • Themed Walking Trails: Explore the town via the Oyster Trail and Cockle Trail, or join the special ‘Walk & Talks with Hattie’ on Sunday.

Be sure to pick up your complimentary event programme on the day to find performance times, locations, and easily plan your visit. Come along to celebrate Poole’s heritage, hospitality, and creative spirit!
