Space Family Days

Space Family Days logo

A FREE family day event for Dorset's trans and non-binary young people (including those questioning) and their carers, guardians, parents, siblings, and any other significant relatives. Our Space Family Days provide a safe space for you and your family to work through the changes that present when your young person comes out.

These days are facilitated through peer support, youth workers, and trans and non-binary individuals with lived experiences. During our sessions, young people, siblings, and adult family members are all split up and given their own facilitated space to discuss their situations. This is to ensure everyone in the family has access to confidential support to talk open and honestly.

You can attend as an individual or with your family. Each session has a set topic requested by families that guides the day but there’s always opportunities to have conversations outside of these topics.
