With woodlands, shoreline, meadows and formal gardens, Upton Country Park offers a diverse outdoor learning experience to support home-schooled and alternative provision pupils develop their skills and knowledge alongside an appreciation and understanding of the natural world.

Forest School learning helps children build confidence, learn new skills, gain an appreciation for the natural world using all their senses, and encourages develop independence and learning through exploration. It also promotes physical and mental health and resilience. Parents also get all these benefits while enjoying time outdoors with their children!

Running on Fridays from 12.30 to 2pm during term time, each term will be themed with sessions to support learning whilst exploring the natural world.
