Pond Management - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Kingfisher Barn

Pond Management - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Kingfisher Barn logo

Are you 16-25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?

The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.

In this session you will learn about pond ecosystems, their importance, and how to manage them once they've been installed. You will be assisting with maintaining the existing pond at Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre and the infrastructure around it.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
