Pond Management - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Woodland Walk

Pond Management - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Woodland Walk logo

Are you 16 to 25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?

The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.

In this session you will learn about pond ecosystems, their importance, and how to manage them once they've been installed. You will be assisting with the installation of a pond as part of our works in Woodland Walk Nature Reserve.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

To register your interest and gain full access, or if you have any questions, contact us on: ranger@parksfoundation.org.uk.

This session is aimed at young people who must be able to attend and work independently. In some sessions we will be using tools and working with other members of the public, so the attendees will need to be responsible for themselves and their conduct whilst attending.
