Taekwon-Do is a modern martial art based on the tenets of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit. Taekwon-Do is aimed at encouraging participation by people of all ages and abilities. It improves co-ordination, balance fitness, flexibility, and develops confidence and self defence techniques. Poole TKD Academy is part of Trenic TKD, which a member of UK ITF, a professional organisation with all instructors recognised, qualified and insured through the National Governing Body. UK ITF aims to offer development opportunities to all clubs and members (students and instructors) through regional national and international events and competitions, instructor and umpire qualifications as well as the traditional grading syllabus.

Members and new attendees may be confident that the club continues to operate in a COVID-19 secure manner in line with National Governing Body risk assessment and guidelines.

Generation X (4 to 7 years) Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm to 5:45.pm Cadet Beginners (8 to 12 years) Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45pm to 6:30pm Cadet Advanced (8 to 12 years) Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:15pm Adults (13 years +) Tuesday and Thursday from 7:15pm to 8pm.
