Littledown is the region's largest public leisure and sports centre situated in the 47 acres of Littledown Park, just 4 miles northwest of the town centre close to King's Park.

Operated by registered charity BH Live in partnership with BCP Council, facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool, 17-metre teaching pool, well-equipped gym, a soft play area, and a packed timetable of classes, sports and activities for all ages and abilities, especially under fives and families.

Pool-based attractions include ‘Wet and Wacky’ with music, water play and toys, plus the Crusher inflatable – a giant pool run. Both are popular attractions over the weekends and during the school holidays. There are also lots of water-based activities including hydrotherapy, lane swimming and swimming lessons for all ages.

A comprehensive programme of group exercise classes runs daily for people of all ages and fitness levels, including teenagers and families. Other facilities include all-weather 3G football pitches, grass pitches, and large sports hall for badminton, trampolining, gymnastics, basketball, karate and more.

Littledown also hosts a number of independent sports clubs and hosts regular swimming competitions and events.

Catering facilities include a café, picnic benches in Littledown park and Lookout at Littledown (18+)
