Our Early Years Foundation Stage, which includes Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception, is located in spacious, ground-floor rooms within our Pre-Prep building. Children have access to our beautiful woodland surroundings with access to school facilities such as play areas, swimming, Forest School and music. The department is led by highly qualified teachers and professionals who provide a kind and enriching learning environment as well as excellent foundations in both phonics and numeracy. We offer flexible attendance options for children in Nursery and Kindergarten and ask parents to get in touch to discuss the best options for their daughter. In Reception, children attend full-time from 8:40am to 3:30pm. Additional before and after school care is also provided from 8am in the morning and until 5.30pm in the evening. Our Early Years Foundation Stage is guided by the 'Development Matters' framework, which we use to monitor children’s progress and ensure each child receives the support they need to thrive.
