SAMM (Support after Murder and Manslaughter)

SAMM (Support after Murder and Manslaughter) logo

SAMM is a national charity supporting families bereaved by murder and manslaughter.

We offer confidential non-judgmental support to anyone affected by murder or manslaughter via a telephone helpline, a secure on line forum, non-religious weekend retreats and seminars. If you have been bereaved by murder or manslaughter you may find it difficult to make the first call, regardless of how long it is since you were bereaved. Perhaps you can ask a family member, a friend, or your Police family liaison officer to make the call on your behalf.

Please note our database of members is absolutely confidential and will not be revealed to anyone. Please - do not feel you are alone. You will talk to people who will care for you, and understand your grief, all our SAMM volunteers are themselves bereaved as a result of homicide.
