PANS/PANDAS UK Charity

PANS (paediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric syndrome) and PANDAS (paediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric syndrome associated with strep)

Post-infectious conditions that trigger the rapid onset of neuropsychiatric symptoms.

Children and young people can develop a wide range of symptoms including OCD, restricted eating, tics, anxiety, and a deterioration in school performance. Children and young people living with PANS or PANDAS can develop SEND. (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). 

Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) accredited UK clinical guidelines and Local Authority guidance are pending.

In 2025, PANS PANDAS UK were supporting around 7100 families, children and young people living with suspected or diagnosed PANS or PANDAS,  Health, education and allied professionals.
