Beat is the UK's only nationwide organisation supporting people affected by eating disorders, their family members and friends. Beat provides information and support by phone, text or email and via message boards, online support groups and Helpfinder, an online directory of support services.

Beat also runs specific projects, such as the Emotional Overeating project which includes support groups for people who binge eat, compulsively overeat or feel they have emotional eating issues.

Eligibility criteria:
The Beat Adult Helpline is open to anyone over 18. The Beat Youthline is open to anyone under 25. Parents, teachers or any concerned adults should call the adult helpline.
