Celebration Day - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Poole Harbour

Celebration Day - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Poole Harbour logo

Environmental work experience for 16-25 year olds, covering various green skills.

Are you 16-25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?

The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.

To celebrate all your hard work so far, this session gives you a chance to attend a Birds of Poole Harbour Boat Trip. This is a great way to learn about the work that this local charity does to protect birds and their habitats, and find out more about their osprey reintroductory programme. Hopefully this will be a chance to spot lots of birds and may even see an Osprey or White tailed Sea Eagle.

Take a look at the Birds of Poole Harbour website for further informtion regarding their boat tours.

We have limited tickets and are initially offering this trip out to participants who have attended 4 sessions or more. If there are remaining spaces after a week, we will offer they spaces out to people who have attended 3 session and so on. Please ensure you book on as soon as possible if you wish to attend.

This event is for those who have previously attended our Ranger Work Experience sessions. You will be issued with an event specific password, if you have attended enough sessions.

To register your interest and gain full access to our ranger sessions, or if you have any questions, contact us on: ranger@parksfoundation.org.uk - booking is required.
