Environmental work experience for 16-25 year olds, covering various green skills. Contact ranger@parksfoundation.org.uk to register interest
Are you 16-25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?
The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.
In this session, we will be looking for plants that are flowering even at this time of year! We'll take pictures, consult books and record what we find, using different techniques to capture data. You will learn the importance of collecting species data. Learn how we record this information, and how it influences our future work. No prior knowledge is required.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
