Veg Growing - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at The Henry Brown Centre

Veg Growing - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at The Henry Brown Centre logo

Are you 16-25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?

The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.

In this session, we will be covering how best to plant various fruit and vegetable species and learning different techniques to increase yield. You will develop an understanding of plant ecology and the importance of composting. Help look after community growing beds whilst learning how to become more self-sustainable.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
