Woodworking - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Kingfisher Barn

Woodworking - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Kingfisher Barn logo

Are you 16-25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?

The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.

Come and join in the Christmas fun at Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre at our popular and busy Reindeer Making event. You will be supporting our event delivery by drilling and decorating wooden reindeers with member of the public, supported by our and the Stour Valley Ranger team members. You will be taught how to safely use various hand and power tools, and different techniques to do so.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
