Dorset Blind Association support blind and partially sighted people to live happy lives. We organise a range of activities including social activities and handicrafts, meeting at various venues throughout Dorset.

We also provide one to one support for families and carers, equipment and advice, life skills and employment support, transcription services to audio and braille and sight loss training.

Opening times:
Please give us a call Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm or email the main office account and your query will be answered accordingly. Our resource centre is located upstairs and is open 9am – 1pm Monday to Friday. Feel free to pop in and visit, or you can write to us at the office using the above details.

Anyone with a serious sight loss, whether temporary or permanent
Referral process:
  • Contact by telephone, e-mail, letter or complete a form - self referrals are accepted
