Support for children aged 0-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Our agreements (charters)

Our agreements, or charters, set out the values that we have agreed together. These underpin all our co-production work:

Belonging

Everyone is an equal partner in co-production and can participate in a meaningful way. We ask families and other partners what their communication and accessibility needs are, and how these can be met.

Communication

All communication is clear, timely, accessible and inclusive of all needs. This applies to communication that is verbal or written, in a group or in a one-to-one situation.

Empathy

We communicate with genuine empathy. We are mindful of our own internal bias and prejudice, and challenge this. Empathy is at the heart of every interaction.

Respect

We show respect and courtesy to all those involved in the co-production process. Everyone is equally valued.

Transparency

Everyone involved feels equally empowered. There are no separate agendas. Factors that impact on co-production are shared openly and at the earliest opportunity with others.

Honesty

We are honest with each other. We give clear and prompt explanations to make sure everyone has the right expectations about what can and can’t be done.

Trust

We build and share trust amongst everyone involved in co-production. Our agreed principles and values are always in place.
