The annual special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) survey is an opportunity to hear about experiences of SEND support and EHCPs, whether in school / college, healthcare or in the community. We use the views from parents, carers, children and young people in the Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP) area to help us improve and develop SEND services across education, health and care.

The 2025 survey was held between 3 and 30 November 2025, we received 199 responses (97 Children and Young People and 102 from Parents and Carers). The SEND values of culture and co-production were developed with families and young people, and set out how we should behave and work.
