Inspired by our May Morris exhibition our summer holiday activities are all themed around animals, plants and nature.
House Trail: Follow our nature themed trail around the house, free of charge, admission ticket required for historic house.Garden Trail: Take part in the garden scavenger hunt, free of charge.Garden Games: Play some traditional garden games (weather dependent), free of charge.
We will also have the following activities on different days;
Join in with our family friendly animal safari tour, at 11am each Tuesday.Tour free of charge, admission ticket required.
On Wednesdays we’ll be running printing workshops, suitable for children aged 7 to 13.
Tactile Thursdays
Whilst we normally ask people not to touch when they visit the museum, on Thursdays between 10am – 12pm you can visit the object handling table to discover more about selected museum objects and have the chance to touch and handle them.Free of charge, admission ticket required.
On Fridays you’ll find a some self-led activity stations for you to stop at as you explore the museum including dressing up, jigsaws and selfie stations.Free of charge, admission ticket required.
