Super Museum Adventure at Museum of East Dorset

Super Museum Adventure at Museum of East Dorset logo

With excitement building around the release of the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie, families everywhere are rediscovering their love for one of gaming's most iconic characters. This Easter, we invite you to step into the adventure with our Super Museum Adventure – a colourful, interactive trail inspired by the playful spirit of classic video game worlds.

Explore the museum like never before as you hunt for hidden coins, collect stars and complete fun challenges throughout the historic rooms. Designed to spark imagination and keep families moving, this vibrant Easter activity trail turns every visit into a quest.

Along the way, enjoy hands-on craft activities, a fancy-dress station and playful tasks that bring the museum’s stories to life. Power up your adventure by collecting stars as you complete challenges and unlock your inner explorer.

On selected days, visitors can also join nostalgic Mario gaming sessions on a Nintendo Wii in the Garden Room – perfect for parents who grew up with Mario and for younger players discovering him for the first time thanks to the new film. Gaming slots will need to be booked on arrival.
